Growing up has never been easy.Growing up as the child of a Police Officer is even harder. Most people don’t think about the family behind the badge.
They don’t know about the missed Christmas dinners or birthday parties because of shift work. They don’t think about the kids at home, hoping that their
parent makes it back safely. And, they will never understand the fear when their police officer father or mother is late coming home and there is a knock
at the door.

The Bethlehem Police Youth Scholarship Association was created by a group of concerned police officers and citizens who want to ensure that educational
opportunities are made available for future generations.

Our organization strives to accomplish several objectives:

1. Strengthen the bonds between Bethlehem Police Officers and the Community that they serve.

2. Provide the Community with the opportunity to thank their officers for their dedication and service.

3. Provide the opportunity for community members and officers to work together in fundraising.

4. Provide educational scholarships to the children of Bethlehem Police Officers.

The Bethlehem Police Youth Scholarship Association has been approved for nonprofit status. We are currently planning several fundraisers
including a motorcycle event and a 5k run. We will also graciously accept donations and are looking for sponsors for our upcoming events.
